- Continued Professional Development each year in order to qualify for membership of the Body Control Pilates Association (BCPA)
- Courses attended include Pilates and Osteoporosis, mat-work equipment, Intermediate Mat-work repertoire and many others.

- Double Bass player for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra since 1999 and still a current part-time member of the orchestra
- Freelance double bass in London, including for the Philharmonia, BBC orchestras, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, opera and ballet 1989 – 1999
- Teacher of Double Bass at Canford School 2002 - present

- Numerous cycle tours including the Raids Alpine and Pyrenean, cycling through France to Nice, Barcelona, Marseille, Turin; through Germany to Munich; Italy, Milan to Rome
